BSMI approvals require the use of an agent in Taiwan. Northwest EMC contracts with a Taiwanese professional product design and certification services company called ADT for such purposes. ADT acts on behalf of Northwest EMC, and our customers, for BSMI approvals. Once your product has completed testing, we submit an application package to ADT for the BSMI approval process.
In addition, ADT keeps us updated on information and changes regarding BSMI approvals. We will post that information here for our customers. Bear in mind that these items are ADT’s translations from the official Chinese documents.
